The planning device (16) generates a cut surface in the cornea (17) of an eye (2) by a laser device (4). A planning device calculating unit is provided for defining cornea cut surfaces such as cap section, lenticle, and entrance section, for calculating the cornea cut surfaces based on the data of a refraction correction, and generating a set of control data for the control of the laser device. The planning device main portion is connected to a measuring device for measuring the position and location of the pre-operative sections in planning with respect to the calculation result.
