The pad (1) has a friction pad (3) mounted on a support plate (2), which is arranged on an attenuation metal sheet (4), where side of the friction pad faces away from the attenuation metal sheet. The support plate comprises a recess (5), which is inserted into the attenuation metal sheet corresponding to impression of the attenuation metal sheet. A resilient material (8) i.e. rubber, partly covers the attenuation metal sheet, and the recess and the attenuation metal sheet exhibit transition to one another, where a floor area of the recess is coated with a glue layer.
