The vehicle (1) has a liquefied petroleum gas tank (3) for accommodating the liquefied petroleum gas as a fuel for an internal combustion engine (2) of the vehicle, and an overpressure discharge line (7) for discharging autonomously vaporized liquefied petroleum gas through a pressure relief valve (6). The vehicle is provided with a gas tank (8), where the overpressure discharge line is connected with the gas tank. A gas compressor (9) is arranged between the overpressure discharge line and the gas tank. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a vehicle.
