The self-adhesive cosmetic plaster (10) comprises a planar plaster element (20) for resting on the user's skin with a support face (22). The planar plaster element is at least partially formed of a material having adhesive properties, such that the plaster element is affixed to the skin at the time of use. The plaster element is formed from a mixture of essential components containing one or more gelling agents, water, and tackifier, in which a sugar-containing product is comprised as a tackifier.
