The metering system (1) has a storage container (13) for storing a liquid medium, a pump (4) connected with the storage container through a supply line (15), and a metering valve (6) connected with the pump through a pressure line (16). The liquid medium is metered through a valve opening. The metering valve is formed as a hydraulically-opening nozzle. The pump and the metering valve is directly connected with each other. The pump is designed as a linear magnetic pump.
