The method involves creating individual and unique access code, and decrypting the access code that refers to a URL of an access server (2) using a decryption device (1). The decryption device is connected to the URL of the access server. Appropriate access rights of individual access codes are authenticated and assigned to the decryption device using a database on the access server. The access rights data are obtained from a data server (3), and the corresponding data is output to the decryption device. An independent claim is also included for a device for individual distributing of digital media.
