The cylinder (1) has a housing (10), and a locking sill flap (20) arranged at the housing in a rotatable manner around a rotational axis. The sill flap is connected with a magnet i.e. disk, in a torque-proof manner. Another magnet is connected with the housing for exerting torque on the sill flap during rotation of the sill flap by the cooperation of the magnets. The latter magnet is arranged in a recess of a rod-like section (12) of the housing. The former magnet is arranged eccentric to the rotational axis in a knob that is indirectly connected with the sill flap over a shaft.
