The device has an adjustable pad carrier (3) supported on pads (4) of a cushion (1). Control agents (7, 8) i.e. tension springs, adjust length of the pad carrier, a module carrier (2) and the cushion. Lever arrangements (9) are arranged on sides of the cushion and fixed with two swingable steering wheels (10, 11). A third steering wheel (12) is provided in the module carrier and supported on the two steering wheels. A diaphragm (22) slides in the module carrier, and is supported along longitudinal direction of the cushion and pivotal axes (13, 14, 17, 18) of the steering wheels.
