The method involves processing of an image generated by an image forming apparatus by a control unit. The status data of environment of vehicle is determined by an environmental sensor system e.g. ultrasound sensor system. The control unit is based on the image evaluation of the image data (7) generated by the image forming apparatus. The cut-off line is determined with respect to a given data set, which is determined on the basis of a status data of environment.
