The assembly (10) has a root pin (11) provided with an anchoring portion for anchoring in a dental root canal (2) by cement. A corona lab section is adapted to receive a crown. A support sleeve (13) is arranged in a transition region between the anchoring portion and the corona lab section. The root pin surrounds a receiving sleeve (17) that comprises rigid and flexible sleeve portions (20, 21). The rigid sleeve portion is adapted for anchoring in a fully processed coronal canal section. The flexible tube portion is designed to be anchored in an apical portion of the root canal. The root pin, the support sleeve and the receiving sleeve are made of fiber reinforced plastic, metal, ceramic material or auxetic material.
