The converter element (100) has a layer stack (10) that is provided with a first type phosphorus layer (1) and a second type phosphorus layer (2). The first type and the second type phosphorus layers are set different from each other. The second type phosphorus layer is provided as glue layer and is arranged between the first type phosphorus layer and a third type phosphorus/ceramic layer (3) so as to couple the first type phosphorus layer with the third type phosphorus layer. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an optoelectronic semiconductor component; and (2) a method for manufacturing converter element.
