The air supply (2) has inlet openings (11) for inflow of unfiltered air, and a fresh-air conduit (17) for guiding the unfiltered air to air filters. Each inlet opening is formed in an area of a lock bridge (5). The lock bridge is traversed, and the fresh-air conduit is connected with the lock bridge below a motor dust cover (4) of an engine compartment of a motor vehicle. The fresh-air conduit supplies the unfiltered air from the lock bridge over a lock cover (6). The air filters are arranged laterally on two sides of an internal combustion engine.
