The multilayer-surface deflation armor has a layer sequence with a layer (101) and another layer (102) spaced from the former layer, where an intermediate space between the both layers is completely filled with a solid foam (103). The layers are made from a synthetic fiber composite material such as glass fiber reinforced plastic or carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The foam is a metal foam, a ceramic foam or a plastic foam.
