The method involves pressing and bonding a sealing profile along a pasting area effecting application frames (5-8) of supporting elements (3, 4). The supporting elements with application frames for respective vehicle door are fitted to application frame memories (9, 10), and expandable, where the application frame memories are circular memories and lift memories. An independent claim is also included for a mounting station for applying a sealing profile to a door of a vehicle.
