The central valve has a sleeve (2) with openings arranged at an axial distance from each other, where the openings form radial working connections and a radial supply connection. One of the working connections is an inlet connection, which is connected to the supply connection in a position of the hollow piston (3) and is blocked by the hollow piston in another position of the hollow piston. One of the working connections is a return flow connection, which is connected to a tank outlet connection in the latter position of the hollow piston.
