The engaging element is connected with both the outside of a horizontal wall and with the outer side of a vertical wall of the support. The engaging element is made of plastic, particularly fiber-reinforced plastic. A receiving device is provided, by which compressive forces and tensile forces are transferred from a vehicle lifting device (15) to the vehicle body through a form-fitting connection or a frictional connection in a vertical direction.
