The device (10) has a fuel injection nozzle (25) through which liquid is supplied to an exhaust gas system (20) of an internal combustion engine (50). An atomization disk (30) i.e. sieve, is arranged in a spraying cone of the fuel injection nozzle. A surface (32) of the atomization disk is arranged parallel to a central axis (22) of the exhaust gas system. The atomization disk includes holes whose diameter is smaller than maximum diameter of drops of the dosed liquid. The injection nozzle is arranged to the atomization disk relative to 60 to 80 degree angles.
