Circuit for controlling semiconductor light emitting elements e.g. LEDs, of lamp, has electronic switches controlled by microcontroller, and semiconductor luminous elements switched in series in different combinations by switches
The circuit has multiple electronic switches (S12-S33) controlled by a control unit i.e. microcontroller. Multiple semiconductor luminous elements (D1-D4) are switched in series in different combinations by the electronic switches. The semiconductor luminous elements are arranged in parallel with each other. A part of the semiconductor luminous elements is switched as a function of height of a rectified alternating voltage i.e. rectified pulsating net alternating voltage. A current regulator is switched in series to the part of the semiconductor luminous elements. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling semiconductor light emitting elements.
