The device has a control unit that controls the brightness of a light bar according to received output of driver assistance function. The light bar is arranged behind a covering portion of main portion. The covering portion and light bar are arranged, such that the light bar is hidden to an occupant of the vehicle during inactive state. The light amount of light bar is passed through during an active state, so as to obtain and to convey the information to the attention of occupant.
