The method involves arranging inverter (10) with several controllable switches (SHA-SHC), to provide polyphase electric current to electrical machine (14). The inverter is controlled in predefined sequences of different switching states of the switches, to provide voltage in the form of voltage space vector. One of sequences is selected depending on specific time period for driving the inverter according to predefined load set point.
