The adapter (2) has attachment elements e.g. retainer (16) and Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) strip (22), for releasably fastening a retaining strap at a patient desk. Rails (8) are connected via cross connectors i.e. leather strips (10). The strip is utilized for formation of a Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) connection to the patient desk. The rails comprise a latch (12) at which the strip is attached. The rails are provided with the retainer i.e. linear guide, for retaining an insert element, which attached at the retaining strap.
