The fuel injection valve (1) has an actuator (9), a nozzle needle (6) and a mechanical translator (30). The stroke of the actuator is translated into stroke of the nozzle needle by the mechanical translators. A hydraulic temperature equalizing device (31) is provided such that the actuator affects the mechanical translator over the hydraulic temperature equalizing device when translating the stroke of the actuator into the stroke of the nozzle needle.
