The drive (1) has a pinion (2) non-rotatably connected with a wheel (3) through a traction unit (4), which comprises a drive span (5) and a slack strand (6). Two sliding rails (7, 8) rest on outer sides of the drive span and the slack span. The drive span and the slack strand are clamped together by using a clamping element (9) i.e. chain, of the sliding rails. The clamping element is arranged between the drive span and the slack strand. Two slides are directly or indirectly connected to a sheet-like element (12) on pivot joints (13, 16).
