The driven plate (10) has a bar (16) to bridge the axial and radial displacement of a primary fastening disc (12) to a secondary fastening disc (14). The bar is passed to a contact surface (18) towards the secondary fastening disc which is spaced apart from the primary fastening disc. A circumferentially closed clamping surface (36) is formed between the contact surface and the bar to accommodate a driven plate main portion in a lathe. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing driven plate.
