The vehicle underfloor covering has a flat covering component (10) and a reinforcing component formed for connection with the flat covering component. The reinforcing component is formed separately from the flat covering component and is connected with the flat covering component with connecting units such that the flat covering component connected with the reinforcing component has higher dimensional stability than the flat covering component alone.
