The fuel-operated heater (10) has a burner portion (12) that is supplied with fuel (B) by using a fuel conveyer assembly (32). The combustion air (V) is supplied to a combustion chamber (20) by using a combustion air conveyer assembly (36). The combustion chamber is provided with a combustion state recognition arrangement (46) which is provided with a pressure sensor (48). The pressure sensor is provided for detecting the pressure in combustion air flow direction of combustion chamber.
