The motor component comprises a thermal oxidation-resistant protective layer (5) on its area. A catalytic reactivity of the protective is smaller than that of the base material of the engine component. The motor component is applied with an oil or air stream through a cooling channel and tends to oil fired attachments. The component is formed of a base material (8). The motor component further comprises a heat-conducting coating (6) for distributing the heat generated in the operation, a valve shaft, and a valve disc. The motor component comprises a thermal oxidation-resistant protective layer (5) on its area. A catalytic reactivity of the protective is smaller than that of the base material of the engine component. The motor component is applied with an oil or air stream through a cooling channel and tends to oil fired attachments. The component is formed of a base material (8). The motor component further comprises a heat-conducting coating (6) for distributing the heat generated in the operation, a valve shaft, and a valve disc. The heat-conducting coating is partially coated with the protective layer. The catalytic reactivity of the coating is smaller than that of the base material of the motor component. The protective layer is applied by physical vapor deposition or chemical vapor deposition. The valve shaft passes via a rounded valve throat in the valve disc, and portions of the valve throat and cooling channel include the thermal oxidation-resistant protective layer and the coating.
