The pan has an oil sump housing (1) provided with two housing portions (1a, 1b). An electrical conductor pattern (6) is integrated with the two housing portions. An electrical control device (5) is arranged in a region of the first housing portion. An electrical circuit board (5a) is provided in the electrical control device. A heat conducting medium is filled in the first housing portion. A window-shaped aperture is formed in the housing portions and the electrical control device. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an oil pan.
