The transmission (1) has an input shaft (EW1) designed as a hollow shaft. Another input shaft (EW2) is designed as a solid shaft. One of the input shafts is coupled with a third gear wheel stage (ZP3), a sixth gear wheel stage (ZP6), and a second gear wheel stage (ZP2) for switching a first gear. The other input shaft is coupled with a fourth gear wheel stage (ZP4), the third gear wheel stage and a seventh gear wheel stage (ZP7) for switching an eighth gear. Gear wheels (Z1-Z17) form the stages, which are arranged on the input shafts and a countershaft (VW) in gear wheel planes (I-VIII). The countershaft is an output shaft.
