The circuit has a coolant radiator (4) which is provided with a coolant flow (5) that is in contact with the coolant cooler (3) through a connecting line (6). A reactor coolant cooler is connected with a coolant return line (7). The connecting line connects the coolant flow (9) to the exhaust gas turbocharger (2). A coolant return line (10) is lead into the coolant return line. The connecting line connects the branch (8) between the coolant cooler and the shut-off element (12) to the coolant radiator. An independent claim is included for operating method of coolant circuit.
