The drive (1) has a gear box (4) i.e. multistage gearbox, provided with two partial gear boxes (5, 6). Input shafts (7, 8) and a common output shaft (9) are formed in the partial gear boxes. Positive shift units of the partial gear boxes are connected with the common output shaft. A first frictional clutch (11) is fixed with the input shafts and the first partial gear box and opened if the first input shaft is uncoupled with an electric machine (3). A second frictional clutch (12) is placed between the electric machine and the second partial gear box. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a hybrid drive.
