The injector (10) has a control valve (39) provided with a spherical closing unit (48), which forms a part of a sealing seat (49). A control chamber (58) is connected with a high pressure storage (60). A spring element (55) is connected to the closing unit, which interacts with an armature (45). The spring element presses the closing unit in a direction of the sealing seat. A separate device (72) is provided with an electrical actuatable magnetic circuit, which is provided in an open position of the sealing seat. The magnetic circuit comprises a permanent magnet element (77).
