The lever actuator arrangement has a lever portion (11) which is mounted between an outer bearing (24) and an inner bearing (23) on a displaceable bearing block (13) for actuating the clutch. The outer bearing is biased by a coil spring to lever potion at the inner bearing to exert a force in the direction of engagement of the clutch. The coil spring in the form of an elastomeric component (26) of which a compressive load is elastically deformed, and returned to original shape, and dampen vibrations, which are exerted by the engaged clutch.
