The fuel cell has an anode-cathode stack that is provided with lower and upper gas diffusion layers (14,20) and multiple fluid inlet ports (26,26a,26b). The flow resistance of fluids (30,34) flowing into the inlet ports along basic flow direction (27) is made to increase. A fluid outlet port (26c1) is provided with a side wall (36) which is aligned obliquely with respect to one of adjacent gas diffusion layer.
