The free wheel mechanism (2) has clamping device to block rotation of the shaft relative to the outer ring in both directions of rotation around the main rotational axis when the cylindrical rollers are in a clamping position. The rotation of the shaft relative to the outer ring in a direction of rotation around main rotational axis, is enabled when rollers are in free-wheel position. The control discs are actuated by eccentric shaft to switch the rollers from the clamping position into the free-wheel position. An independent claim is included for ceiling mount.
