The machine has a drive unit (10) and an electronic unit (12) that are attached to a cooling device (16). The cooling device covers a coupling unit (18) that is thermally coupled with the drive unit and the electronic unit, which is coupled with a function unit (14). The coupling unit comprises a heat conducting element (20) that is utilized for transporting thermal energy. The heat conducting element is arranged between the drive unit and the functional unit and arranged between the electronic unit and the functional unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a drive unit and an electronic unit of a handicraft machine.
