The chassis structure has several longitudinal beams (2-5) which are arranged oppositely in vehicle transverse direction, and are fixed to free end of bumper transverse support portions (6,7). Longitudinal beam portions (2a-5a) of longitudinal beams are formed of aluminum alloy and are fixedly connected to longitudinal carrier sections (2b-5b). The longitudinal beam portions is formed as a deformation element with respect to the deformation behavior of bumper cross-element-side deformation portions (19,20) applied on longitudinal support beams, which are arranged adjacently. An independent claim is included for motor vehicle.
