The double-clutch transmission has two input shafts (11,12) each for connection to the load clutches (K1,K2), which are offset in parallel, a first countershaft (13) staggered in parallel with the input shafts, and a second countershaft (14) arranged coaxially with the input shafts and mounted between the intermediate shafts (15) and having gearwheel planes (Z1-Z5) and switching units (S1-S8) to produce a connection between the input shafts, intermediate shaft and the countershafts. The gearwheel planes and the switching units are designed for connection of the forward gears.
