A process is described for functionalization of thermoplastic plastic sheets with hybrid layer structures. On plastic films are deposited electrochemically copper conductor tracks in the forming regions provided be supplemented with deep-drawable silver. The functionalized produced by this process thermoplastic film can be a component of a user interface or an electronic apparatus, in particular in a motor vehicle.
