The mirror (1) has a carrier structure fixed with an attachment unit. The attachment unit is fastened to the mirror at board edge of a motor car (3). An adjustment element is fixed with the board edge of the motor car and the carrier structure and aligned along vertical direction of an aperture (9) in the motor car. A screwing gear box is provided with an adjustable screw and a spindle nut and fixed with the adjustment element. A position element is fixed with the adjustable screw and the spindle nut.
