The component has a honeycombed or cellular structured core layer (3) comprising an amplification profile (4). The amplification profile is arranged within the component at a side edge (10) of the component such that a top face and underside of the amplification profile are covered by upper and lower fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) covering layers (2.1, 2.2). The amplification profile is attached with the FRP covering layers and the core layer. The FRP covering layers are mechanically connected with a fixing element (6) of the amplification profile that is made of aluminum alloy or steel. The core layer is made of plastic, fiber reinforced plastic, metal, metal foam and plastic foam. The fixing element is designed as a screw, bolt, rivet, nail and pin. An independent claim is also included for a sandwich component arrangement.
