The method involves placing a core (A5) into a cavity of a tool, and preheating the core, where a diameter of the core lies within a range of 1.5-3.5 mm. An elastomeric material (A4) is injected into the cavity and in a direction of a surface of the core until the core is completely covered with the elastomeric material, where the core is made of metal, a ceramic material, a plastic material or a composite material. The injected elastomeric material is continuously controlled and gradually cooled. The core is held as an insert by supporting elements i.e. sleeves. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a pedicle rod for a system for fixation and stabilization of a spinal column (2) a system for fixation and stabilization of a spinal column.
