The sensor (10) has an electrically conductive material (28) having measuring layer (12) on which a measurement surface (16) acted upon through a mass flow (18) is arranged. An induction device (14) is used for inductive heating of the measuring layer. A detection unit (22) is used for detecting the temperature change in the measuring layer. A material layer (32) of base portion (34) is arranged between the measuring layer and the induction device. The measuring layer is applied on a carrier film (44), which is mounted interchangeably on the base portion. An independent claim is included for method for detecting physical properties of mass flow of fluid.
