The facade (1) has a supporting framework (2) attached to a wall (3), and facade panels (4) attached to the supporting framework. Retaining webs (6) are aligned at an acute angle with the supporting framework, where the webs face upwardly away from the wall. A rear side of each facade panel includes a groove (11), where the retaining webs penetrate into the grooves for locking the facade panels.
