The apparatus comprises hollow flow-through plastic portion (1) having a centrally arranged deformable portion (2) of rectangular cross-section. Two opposite sensor contact surfaces (3,4) and two opposing pressure area surfaces (5,6) are arranged on outer surface of centrally arranged deformable region. Two connection regions (7,8) are provided for connection to tubing and/or plastic pipes flanking the deformable portion. An independent claim is included for a flow measurement device.
