The method involves placing the measuring windows over one another, so that an overlapped surface on a measuring surface (16) is maximized. The measuring windows are measured by matrix on the measuring surface with light-sensitive pixels and are digitalized for an evaluation unit. A difference matrix is minimized as a measure for evaluating the disk quality for camera applications.
