The device has several sample chambers such that each sample chamber has opening between sample chamber neck (kh) and sample retention chamber (kr). Sample retention chambers are arranged in binary or t-ary tree order. Each sample chamber receives a sample that is single sample, test independent dummy sample, composite sample of child nodes or composite sample of root nodes. The t in t-ary is fixed or variable across tree height. The volume of each sample chamber is logically divided into volume needed for possible test in sample retention chamber and volume in sample chamber neck.
