The luminous element (1) has supporting portion (2) on which LED (3) is arranged. A transparent light-conducting cladding layer (4) made of polyurethane is coated on the supporting portion, above the LED. The supporting portion is configured as flexible printed circuit board, and the cladding layer is configured to scatter and reflect the light.
