The piston compression device (100) is displaceable by a motor driven piston (12), which is set in a cylinder (11) into a reciprocating movement by using a connecting rod (3). The connecting rod is driven from a toothed wheel (1), which is displaceable by the motor shaft into a rotary motion. The toothed wheel is made of a plastic portion, where a spindle (5) for supporting the toothed wheel is arranged in the center of the toothed wheel. Another spindle (2) or a bearing (10) for mounting the connecting rod is arranged eccentrically to the toothed wheel.
