The floor assembly is composed of support layer (20) and cover layer (10). The cover layer is provided with larger thermal expansion coefficient than the support layer. A mass of the cover layer is adapted such that shearing force between the cover layer and support layer is produced by thermally induced change in length of the cover layer. The shearing force is smaller than holding force for connecting the cover layer with support layer.
